The short version
- We use your info only to answer you about your phone.
- We do not sell it. We do not send you ads.
- This site uses no trackers and sets no cookies.
This site belongs to East Bay Phone Medic, a mobile phone repair service based in Fremont, CA. Last updated October 2026.
What the forms ask for
The free quote form asks for your phone, the model and what went wrong. It asks for your first name and phone number. It also asks for your city or ZIP code, so we know where to meet you. If you pick an email reply, it asks for your email. A photo of the damage is optional. So is a note. You can also tell us where you will be, when it works for you, which language you prefer, and how you found us.
The sell-your-phone form asks for the model, its condition, and whether you can sign out of your account. It asks for your first name, your phone number and your city or ZIP code. If you pick an email reply, it asks for your email. Photos are optional. So are the storage size, carrier and battery health. You can also tell us a number you have in mind, which language you prefer, and how you found us.
Both forms also note the page you sent them from, the site that sent you here, and the time. Netlify may also record your IP address and browser name with your request.
Please leave out passcodes and passwords. We never need them for a quote.
The draft in your browser
We save the device details, your notes and your sell-form choices in this browser. That way you can pick up where you left off. We do not save your name, phone number, email or photos in that draft. It expires after 24 hours without changes. You can clear it with Start over, or by sending the form. Keep passwords and private details out of your notes. It is removed when your request arrives, or after 24 hours.
Where it goes
Netlify hosts this site and receives the form first. It emails the message to us and keeps a copy in our account. A spam filter, Akismet (run by Automattic for Netlify), checks it first. It may see what you typed and your IP address. Then only we read it.
The site uses HTTPS, so what you send is encrypted on the way to us.
We do not sell your info or trade it. We share it only with the services that run this site and our email.
Calls and texts
When you call or text us, we see your number. When you send a photo, we see the photo. If you tell us where you are, we see that too. We use it to answer you and to plan your repair, and for nothing else. Your phone company's terms apply too. If you open WhatsApp, its own privacy terms apply. Tapping a WhatsApp button sends its starter message, which can include your phone model, to WhatsApp.
What this site tracks
Right now this site has no analytics, no ad trackers and no pixels. Our pages set no cookies. If that changes, we will update this page.
The picture of our service area on some pages is a drawing. It loads nothing from other sites. Links that open Google, our Google reviews or our social profiles take you to those sites. Their own privacy terms apply, like Google's Privacy Policy.
Like most hosts, Netlify keeps basic logs. Those can hold an IP address and a browser name. They help serve the site and block abuse.
Your choices
We do not follow you across other sites. So a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control setting changes nothing here. If we ever count visits, those settings count as a no. Want to see or fix what you sent us? Call or text (510) 344-2741, or email eastbayphonemedic@gmail.com. If we change this page, we change the date at the top.
Children
This site is not meant for children under 13. We do not knowingly take requests from them. If a child sent us a form, call or text us and we delete it.
Deleting your request
Want your quote or sell request deleted? Call or text (510) 344-2741, or email eastbayphonemedic@gmail.com. Tell us the name and number you used. We delete it from our email and our Netlify account.
